thursty kitty
Be patient... (just kitty-ing)

Last night I had a terrible experience... Once more after two months I ate Greek Gyros (something like kebab, even same quality and taste, but since it's Greek it's Gyros and not durum kebab...). I still suffer... but I had some moments of happiness, eating this nice... thing! But almost dead, having aside me Coca-Cola, as medicine and not as soft drink, I thought of the followings:
  • in our life, how many times have we experienced paradise for some moments and after that hell for a longer period?
  • how many times we sacrificed something necessary (health in the current situation) for something that we know that will damage us?
  • and finally, when was the last time we said "no" and we understood why we said that?
Though, "the greatest of faults, I should say is to be conscious of none" as Thomas Carlyle said. So I am glad that I selected to do so and I understood, that by just listening to a shallow need, I will suffer.

Flavor of the day: Coca-Cola Chocolate Chip Cake, by homecooking.about.com

Must watch: Coca-Cola, Happiness factory, the movie

living in Greece, I can persumme that more than 1.000.000 Greeks eat "gyros" every day. From old people to small children. If eating "gyros" was the only cause of stomach suffering, Greece would be a place of agony every night and I know it isn't, not by that kind of agony any way. May be the deep down reason of your stomach problem was the "thing" you tried to choke and shallow with every bite you took, the "thing" that left you unsatisfied and made you look for preasure in a tastefull meal. Probably some"thing" that your inner state detested and denied by punishing you all night long.

Furthermore you searched for temporary "cocacola"relief  when the only thing you had to do is keep walking on and on and put nothing else in your stomach, not even water until you get read of everything "bad".
