So... I am sure that you do have a nice operating perfectly... you have let's say a 20% increase on profit each year... really nice.. you are happy... your employees are happy! Sound good! But why don't you have a 25% increase on profit? Or even 30%... or 40%...
One of the key factors is your image... and since internet is (and will) be the main and the most immediate access point to your company by your potential customers or partners... then you assume that you should take care of it, a bit more.
Once again I will repeat that a basic rule to win the attention of your visitors, is to be different! Being different does not mean that you need to use a lot of animations, sounds, blinking parts and so on... Being different nowadays means (...) to be immediate and sincere! "We do this and we are good on that!" ... I cannot imagine of a sentence more accurate and convincing than this! If they don't want you, then they will Google and will find your competitor. Which is not necessarily negative, because, both you and your potential customer or partner, will avoid a serious amount of time in non worthable (knowing the result...) negotiations.
As a second rule, I would consider as the update of the critical information hosted on your website! With the term critical information, I mean four specific sections: news| customers| success stories| Job opportunities. Why is that? An impressive 85% will never visit the rest of your website apart your first page and the abovementioned sections! Check your statistics...
Well... now that I think of it... we also need as Apogee to update our success stories...
