I often hear many people say “Oh, something is not going as it should be… is there something spiritual happening???“ My answer would be, yes and no! It surely is a complicated question, but I would like to tell you two things about this:
First of all, if we want to see, let us say, even a cup of tea as spiritual, it will be spiritual for us! What I mean is that our perception of spirituality is always filtered through our minds and feelings, therefore we see what we want to see!
After that, we need to take into consideration that, yes, we are humans, which brings us to the previous point that the mind is our ruler, it even rules our feelings, so how could it allow us to view the truth (if any side) of something spiritual?
Yet, I admit that the Bob Proctor’s phrase “we are spiritual beings in human bodies” or the Tibetan phrase “our body is the vehicle of our soul” do trigger my mind, but they also take us to a higher level of consciousness, which makes us understand that the world is not as simple as it looks like! So, would “it” be spiritual or not?
But what is Spiritual? Looking up the term Spirituality in Wikipedia, we find that it means: “Spirituality, in a narrow sense, concerns itself with matters of the spirit, a concept closely tied to religious belief and faith, a transcendent reality, and God. Spiritual matters are thus those matters regarding humankind’s ultimate nature and purpose, not only as material biological organisms, but as beings with a unique relationship to that which is beyond both time and the material world”.
In my understanding, spiritual & spirituality is everything our human mind cannot understand or needs to have an additional reason to make it more mysterious and more attracting! I would suggest the following: only accept a situation as spiritual if you win your mind and your feelings so you can see the objective reality, which means in spiritual terms Divine reality!
Let us observe this photo. Yes, it is a lion! The king of the jungle (rooaaarrr…)! Strong! But… white. So, he is different. If you have two lions, one normal yellowish one and another white one, the yellowish one will attack the victim first and try to kill it faster. So, the yellowish lion is impatient by default and the white wiser. Think of this for a moment.
There are many situations in your life when you had to make a choice. We do not judge whether they were correct or not, but we insist on the fact of how we took the decision. There is a road-map for that:
take a paper and write down the pros and cons
take a second paper and write down the result
take a deep breath and focus on your strengths
now, on the back side of the second paper, write down once more what you really want to succeed in, based on your strengths and your potential
compare the result of your “logic” (1st paper) and that of your “intuition” (2nd back side paper)
make a final choice and accomplish it with passion!
Tao Te Ching says:
“Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom…
Mastering others is strength; mastering yourself is true power”
There are many theories about what you are able to succeed in a certain place (geographically speaking). I remember that Kazantzakis, my favourite esoteric writer said that you do not need to go to Jerusalem to pray to Christ, since Christ, meaning God, is where you are!
Well, I am going to doubt this theory… remember that by questioning something you can expect two results only: either you finally agree, or you find a new theory… though, both cases are productive for you, and nobody else… So, I believe that it is nice to travel a lot and especially to live in new cities, worldwide! Each one of them has to give you something new, which might be essential for your path. You could be able to realize the same indications in your city of birth… but your mind blockages will never allow you to view it since you are not free of it (yet…)!
You can perhaps be in Madrid or Brussels or London and want to move to Barcelona or Berlon… and there will be sooo many things that will try to hold you back… but it is time to decide and live your life the exact way you want to live it! It is time to stop putting your life’s quality under negotiation!
Odysseas Elytis said that “it needs a lot of effort to bring peace…“. Of course, there is no point in discussing World peace, which exists anyway (isn’t it?), let us rather focus on our inner peace!
First of all, what is inner peace? I will give you a simple example. When you are in front of a mirror, how do you act? Do you smile? What are the feelings you have when looking at yourself? Are you staying in front of the mirror just 10″ per day looking at yourself and realizing your current status? Are you fat or slim? Beautiful or ugly? Finally, do you appreciate yourself or not?
There is a small trick we could use in order to bring this so valuable peace in our lives! Each morning we get up, we walk to the mirror and we wishgood morning with a big smile to ourselves! Each night before we go to sleep, we put our left hand on our heart and wish good night to ourselves! Simple, isn’t it? Try to do this for three days! Just three days!
Peace, needs effort to be conquered! Win your limit, hope, with your only tool, consciousness…
Since we are living in a world dependant on so many misleading paradigms, it is unavoidable to face problems arising each day in our lives. Of course, the first one to blame is God… “Why, God, are you treating me like this? More problems? Where is God?” and so on… Well… let us allow God to deal with his/her own problems… I bet that those are greater than ours.
What shall we do with our own problems? Solve them!
How? Let us observe the photo. It is a simple snail. Its life is limited. It is carrying its house all the time… these are problems… But … on the other hand… it leaves its mark behind it… it has a shelter to protect it in difficult situations… it moves slowly but precisely towards its target! Now, to summarize, all problems have a solution… but in order to solve them, you need to:
realize yourself facing them by knowing what you learn by solving them;
think calmly and act accurately;
never let yourself lead into delusions of the mind or the heart… solutions are coming without thoughts, without hopes and without feelings.
Carl Jung said: ”to admit a problem is 50% of its solution“.
Jan Mydral said that “Traveling is not just seeing the new; it is also leaving behind. Not just opening doors; also closing them behind you, never to return. But the place you have left forever is always there for you to see whenever you shut your eyes.”
Let us imagine two things now:
The place you went to last time… where was it? How was it? The buildings, the flavours, the people around you. What was the first thing you remember of this place? What was the last? Why would you like to return to this place? Why you would you not…? What did you gain as a valuable experience from this place…?
The place you want to go to next… Where is it? Why do you want to go? What will you succeed in there? Do you have your passport with you?
One of the most important things while travelling is the love for the place you visit. Why? In this life, we have the opportunity to learn and understand only those experiences we love! Otherwise, it is pointless. It is just a waste of time, time that is valuable for our evolution.
By travelling to places your life (as in business) and your soul needs, we fulfil one of our main purposes: evolution by experiencing! So… where to travel next?
There is a way you can follow to find your present reality that might shock you. This process has three simple phases:
Go to your bathroom… take a shower… and as you are with the water drops on you… look at yourself in the mirror. Examine your entire present situation… your body… but, more importantly, understand your feelings and listen to your thoughts. If you would feel like talking to yourself… do it… My personal proposal would be to get closer to the mirror and look deep into your eyes.
After this interesting procedure, get dressed with your finest clothes, put on your favourite perfume… go to your office and take your favourite pen and an A4 in front of you. Now, you will write down all your negative aspects, all your values and your positive aspects on the first page. This process requires for you to have no feelings and you will not criticize yourself for what you write down on the paper. Now, on the back page, write down only one thing… the major thing you need to accomplish in your life. Write down your Dream! The one that without which you could not even breathe. It is important to refer to you as a second person… like you are talking about you but as an observer… as you would talk about your best friend. After that, take an envelope and mail it to yourself, the same day though! After it returns to you, open it up only after eleven days.
Read the letter… and most importantly… follow the sentence on the back side of the paper…
Think of this for a second… no actually… on the other hand…
Excuses, you seek each moment, to justify your non existing will to live… once the opposite governs one’s life, the senses evolve to a unique form. And, you remember that state. It was the time you were born, and you had in front of yourself a world… but now, you only have a mirror… in a dark room… Waiting a sign or help to change and start living your life, and that will never come. Only when with your own very hands you will touch your soul, then boiling blood will flood your life’s heart…
Have you ever considered whether the things you are doing in your life are small or big? Since you are a kid, you have been bombarded with the BIG idea by your parents, your teachers, your favourite TV shows!!! And since you are a little kid, you have been saying: yes, of course, I will do something big! Well, I am sorry to tell you but, that big thing you wanted to achieve all your life is not yours! It is their perception of you! Think of it… Do you remember the day you decided to follow this career path? Was it something that you intended to do? Have you applied all your efforts to that aspect? Or not…?
Let us discuss about some small things now that are forgotten by your family and your society… Your intentions… Yes, I am afraid to tell you that you are free to have intentions… and not only to have them, but you are also free to materialize them!
Focus on this! Your will must be strong so you will be able to succeed
in exactly what you want and that should never be negotiable!
Why? Because you allowed yourself to be manipulated according to their will, and even though it was based on positive motives, the whole situation is negative for you since you did not decide it for yourself!!! Though, this happened in the past, which is just an illusion in your mind because you are not there, but here! Now… it is your time to decide about yourself… without any distinctions about how small or how big those things are you want to accomplish!
